Enabled Engineering (the company) is a technology development company that leverages science and technologies to engineer advanced solutions. The company was established in 2019 with an aim of developing advanced materials, processing routes and manufacturing technologies to fulfil current and future requirements across industries. Materials and manufacturing focus include advanced metal alloys, metal matrix composites, metal joining and additive manufacturing. We leverage fundamental scientific principles to develop new technologies in a holistic way. 

Our vision is to enable an integral innovation in material science and manufacturing to achieve a radical innovation in new products. 

Dr. Kumar Kandasamy is a metallurgist, welding engineer and technology developer. After 24 years of his involvement in materials and manufacturing, he started Enabled Engineering in 2019 to address the technology gaps in industry wide materials and manufacturing processes. 

He strongly believes that next wave of development materials and manufacturing processes will come from a synergetic, combined and inter-disciplinary innovation. He also believes that the recent advancement in science and technologies will revolutionize the manufacturing, if they are engineered into the new products. 

Kumar is experienced in metal casting, metal forming, welding and additive manufacturing. He also has experience in transforming fundamental ideas into viable technologies to solve engineering problems. He has designed and developed special purpose machine and experimental setups and used them to conduct critical experiments to generate results to prove advanced concepts.
